Its fun isnt' it.
Sorry chaps yesterday whoozhed by, early to help with flat/builders and chores, beachthen more chores, then meeting, then pick up trg (car problemos) then tasty supper of very cheap lambshanks.
nom nom.
Today - work early, then airport with DS he's off to NZ for a month, shortly followed by his sister soon.
Happy they're having an adventure but this sucky no kids at home and no kids for holidays is quite frankly SUCKY.
There you are I've said it.
sucky sucky sucky.
Morning all, so excited this am as a family of bluetits have found the bird table. For 14 long years, I'd not a hope of having any in the garden up north. This is a real pleasure and I'm so grateful for it.

Oh, poor you, I did think when you wrote recently of their forthcoming adventures across the seas that it sounded a bit grim for you that they were off together:(
On a more mundane note, the photos of the hens were great, isn't it wonderful what some good food and care can do for those poor bedraggled creatures, well done for giving them such good homes:D
Yay to the bluetits, I just mentioned on Greying's thread how excited I was to find a lovely circular fat ball feeder that should accommodate multiple fatballs and thus multiple birds, difficulty is in finding a home for it that suits them to feed and where I can see them from a house window:(The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Aw lass (((((((())))))))) Have a big hug (((((((((((())))))))))))))) Second Christmas when they come back I say - I know it's not the same. What are you doing on the day? Hope you manage to fill it with something cheery
:j :j for blue tits :j :j I love them, gorgeous little beasties :j One of the advantages of our tiny garden is that the bird table is RIGHT outside the kitchen window which provides endless hours of amusement :j There's been a tiny little wren out there this morning, and a dunnock, and a few blue tits. Love them all0 -

Hooray for bluetits
I saw my first one in our garden this year, but didn't realise they never made it across the Pentland Firth.
