hardship payments

can anyone tell me definitively how much they are for over 25 please? i cant seem to get either a straight answer or an up to date one. someone has just told me you only get 30% of normal JSA.

    They aren't much. It depends on what money you have coming into the household, whether you can get supported in some other way. What essential needs you have...such as medical supplies. They don't provide money to top up your mobile or pay any bill.

    Assuming you are not disabled or otherwise vulnerable, the hardship rate is 60% of the JSA rate. Hardship payments are not paid for the first two weeks of a sanction unless you are vulnerable.

    The first document refers to ESA but the principles are the same.

    You're right, it's not for me either, unfortunately I can't get the link to post properly on my tablet. If you Google hardship payment and 60% you'll get several government sources confirming the percentage.
