Retweet or Copy and Paste on Twitter?

Just wondering if anybody actually copies and pastes the tweet rather than Retweeting it? I presume that if you copy and paste then the company running the competition still get a notification that you have entered the competition be it RT or C+P

a C&P will just be a tweet and not a RT

you can see who RT's and unless they are following you it will not show on the timeline

I cannot see why anybody would mess around with copy and paste when they can just click retweet?

Do people retweet more than once? I've noticed on Facebook people share more than once & I wondered whether Twitter was the same & if it improved your odds?

I always retweet & have won 3 Twitter comps so far. :j

You can only retweet a tweet once on twitter and copy and pasting it wont register.
