bank complaint - Advice please!

No idea what action to take now and would be very grateful for advice...
10th May: recevied bank statement for ex to my address (divorced over 4 years ago and she has never lived at this address, in fact this is the third address I've lived in since leaving her)
Telephone Co-op bank and told them in no uncertain terms that I was serisously shocked by this. They said they could see the error (although didn't explain how it could possibly have happened) and it had been rectified, and that manager would call back to discuss further.
17th May: letter to serious complaints department of Co-op bank. Recieved letter back saying matter would be dealt with and they would respond by letter within 8 weeks (depsite still awaiting the managers phone call)
Another bank statement has just arrived at my address - obviously they have not removed my address from her account, despite telling me on the phone that they had.
Can't refer to Financial Ombudsman until 8 weeks pass but meanwhile my address is on her account. For personal reasons I do not want her to ever become aware of my address and I'm worried that somehow she might be made aware of it. I'm also concerned about whether there are any possible implications credit-file wise as I plan to apply for a mortgage within the next 12 months.
Would be grateful for any advice you can offer.

Surely this is her problem to deal with, not yours. Can't see the financial ombudsman doing anything as you're not the customer/bank account holder. Have you no way of contacting your ex to get her to let her know?0

I don't know why youre getting so stressed about it to be honest.
Just either forward the mail on to the correct address or repost the mail back marked 'no longer at this address'
No one is going to ring you back because it is not your account. Also, the ombudsman wont help for the same reason.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
OP why don't you put it in writing to them?
Remind them that under the data protection act, they have a duty to ensure information is factually correct, up to date and relevant. By failing to update your ex's records to remove your address, they are in breach of this duty. Provide any proof you have (that she doesnt live there) along with your letter.
They also shouldnt disclose the address to your ex....due to data protection. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

Really wonder if some people even read the whole of a post before replying.Surely this is her problem to deal with, not yours.I don't know why youre getting so stressed about it to be honest.0 -

Forward it on to the ex who will then have the address of his ex as that's where the bank keeps sending it to.
Genius!...I think not.0 -

Except they think that is her address? Could she not ring, pass security and then ask where her bank statements are being sent? After all, she is only asking for the information held about her (although incorrect), not the OP.0 -
Is it definitely the banks fault or does the ex know where you live and is playing games? If you have no linked accounts I don't see how it could happen0

This was my thoughts.
If the ex has never lived at the OP's address then there is only one plausible way that the bank would have changed the address to that of the OP.
Personally I think you're getting upset with the wrong people2014 Target;

Banks basically keep information forever (or at least until computer systems are upgraded). Therefore, if the OP and ex have ever had a shared account at co-op and the op has still for an account with them at his current address, it could well be a bank mix up. Only a bank investigation can confirm either way0
