0% deal expires on 14 Jul - interest from that date?

The 0% deal on balance transfers on my credit card expires on 14 Jul, the date of my next statement. My statements usually give me until the 8th of the following month to pay off the balance and not incur interest charges. As my 0% deal expires on 14 Jul will I still have until 8 Aug to pay off the amount in full without incurring interest or will interest be applied daily from 14 July, or, is it the case that if I do not pay it off in full by 8 Aug then interest will be backdated to 14 Jul?

You have until the the end of the introductory offer (14/07 ?) to clear the balance in full to avoid any interest. Are you sure the end date is the statement date as that seems a little odd ?

Many people get caught out by this and don't pay the balance til the DUE date and then wonder why they've been charged interest. There are numerous threads in this forum asking 'why have they charged me interest'.
