Shower pressure

This might sound like a stupid question. I'm having a look at mixer showers for a new bathroom. A lot of the showers I like say the minimum operating pressure is 1 bar. Is the pressure referred to here the same pressure which is shown on the gauge on my combi boiler?
Thanks
Thanks

Nope that's the pressure on your heating, but due to the fact you have a combi then I am 99% sure they will be fine0

No the pressure on the combi boiler is for the sealed central heating system, not to water coming from the taps.
You could get a plumber out to measure your water pressure or buy a gadget to do it yourself.
We have issues with water pressure on our street as we are on a shared supply (one service to one outside service tap for four houses). But if you have a dedicated supply I would think 1 bar would be easily achieved.
edit: As an additional note Welsh Water specify a minimum of 7 meters static head before they start paying compensation for low water pressure. That works out to about .7 bar. That is obviously the absolute minimum - it would be above that, water companies don't like paying comp
. I imagine your water supplier has similar standards. 0 -

If the guage on your combi is above 1 bar when the boiler is cold then your mains pressure (at the time the combi was filled !) was over 1 bar ..Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0
