You're generally presented with a message on the ATM screen saying "Warning: Your card provider may charge you a fee for this transaction" or words to that effect, so next time you're using an ATM slow down a little.randombirdpr wrote: »I accidentally used my credit card to withdraw some cash yesterday

Is it a 0% balance transfer card? I know sometimes if you take cash out during this period it invalidates the 0% offer.
Really? Seems harsh to invalidate the 0% deal simply by using the card correctly for one of its intended purposes. Normally the 0% offer is only withdrawn for breaches of T&Cs.
You can get stuck paying interest on purchases or cash advances every month until the full balance is cleared, of course. Best not to use a balance transfer card for anything else during the 0% period.0
