Error 404 page

Yesterday, pc was fine. Today, when I try to navigate back to the Chrome homepage using the "home" button, I get a Error 404 page!?
IE and Firefox are both fine. I've checked the extensions page in Chrome, and nothing new has been added. Have done a MBAM scan, nothing shown up.
Anyone else got this, or can advise me please?
Thanks guys.

I thought about that, but wouldn't that lose all my bookmarks and passwords? I just thought I'd explore other options first.
I'm on Windows 7, btw.0 -

What is your homepage? Is it possible that the page you have set as home is just offline? 404 means that the file (eg index.html) wasn't found on the server you're attempting to connect to.scorpionxedos wrote: »I thought about that, but wouldn't that lose all my bookmarks and passwords? Chrome has the ability to sync all of that stuff to your Google account, not something I'd be happy to do but it's an option for reinstalling or installing on a new machine.0 -
Went into settings, changed homepage to imdb, then back to Google and all works okay now.
Thanks for the help, guys.
(May be possibly due to the changing daily homepage Google are doing for the World Cup? If it happens again tomorrow, I'll know.)0
