Fixing gate post to concrete driveway

We have two wooden gates, each 2m high x 1m wide. One is fixed to the house wall, the other to a post in the centre of the driveway. We are looking at replacing these gates with new ones, moving them slightly forward of their current position as my neighbour has fixed a gate to his side of the post and its causing us problems each time his gates swell up in the damp.
We will either install two gates as we have now, or alternatively a gate and a fixed panel - either way we will need to fit a new post on our driveway to hold the gate and possibly a second one to hold one side of the fixed panel.
I've seen metal fixings which appear to be fixed to concerete by large bolts, but not sure if they would be sufficient in this case - no experience of them.
Ideally we would bury a post into the driveway but the concrete is pretty thick and not so easy to dig up. We would need to hire a kango hammer to do this.

But you should be able to sort something with the current post, if it is your post remind the neighbour that you could remove it which would cause him problems.0 -
One of these (this one is for 3" posts, but they are available in 2" and 4" versions):
http://www.diy.com/nav/garden/fencing-paving-decking/fencing/fence_fixings___tools/-specificproducttype-post_spikes___bases/Metpost-System-2-Flush-Fit-Bolt-Down-Red-W-75mm-x-D-75mm-9276649?noCookies=false
and a few of these (http://www.diy.com/nav/fix/nails-screws-fixings-hardware/fixings/anchor_bolts/-specificproducttype-m8/Rawlplug-Projecting-Rawlbolt-44353-M8-9281486?skuId=9291186) and job's a good 'un.
I've done this a few times in the past, using these types of products, and it's always worked well.

Yup, get some big old bolts, some 100mm metposts and 4x4 timber. W've done this and it's been brilliant. Happy days0

Thanks everyone.
Will look into getting some of those. Anything has to be better than what we have now.
No one seems to know exactly who owns the post in question as it was there before both of us moved in. To be honest the neighbour in question is not the most helpful so I'd rather just sort something out myself.0
