Just because something is ex display does not mean it is actually going into the sale. Display items are refreshed at least yearly sometimes 6 monthly as they can get a bit dirty or worn.

Lol .... Yes I am well chuffed as usually there is nothing left! But this sale seems to be pages and pages so hopefully every one who gets later slots have plenty left to choose from x

Got a 5pm slot on Wednesday, is that the first one? I normally don't get an invite until the 2nd round go out.

I am really happy - this is my first VIP slot!! After being a normal cash customer for a long time I opened an account a few months ago and signed up to receive the directories in the hope that I received a VIP slot and I did! I believe it is the first slot - Wednesday at 5pm. I will be at work but thought I would regret doing any other time as there would not be much left from what I've seen with friends/family on previous sales.


TIP - if it helps anyone - I have been refreshing my account page a few times this morning and nothing showed up. It was not until I opened up a new next webpage then added /vipsale to the end of the url (sorry I cannot post a direct link - maybe someone else can for me) then it asked me to log in, which I did and then it came up with a page and a drop down list asking me to select my slot. So it just shows don't rely on your account showing up the banner or letting you know you're eligible for a slot as it didn't show up with me until I went to the special link.

Just back from my local store - lots of ex display furniture on sale but not the table I wanted sadly :-(

Probably a good thing really because I haven't moved house yet! Hopefully it means it wears quite well so I might treat myself to it at full price once I've moved
