Best way/place to save

we are looking at selling our home and downsizing and will probably have around 100k to bank (fab ay) but we need some advice as to the best way to save the money to gain the best interest on it so.

Short term then you need to stay in cash. Longer term then stock market investment might give better returns, you probably need to state your aims and situation in more detail to get more relevant comments.
You can put your money into multiple current accounts paying 3-5% which are far better than any savings or cash isas.
Numerous references in these boards to teh accounts with Santander, nationwide, lloyds tsb etc.0 -
