Smart Parking - success

Mt wife got a PCN from Smart Parking a few weeks ago after overstaying the three-hour limit by 20 minutes. This was at Talbot Green Retail Park near Cardiff. She almost gave in and paid, but I persuaded her to fight it. She contacted the shops she'd visited but they were unable (they said) to cancel the charge and told her to send the receipts that proved she was a genuine shopper in to Smart.
They have just written back saying they have cancelled the charge.
Pretty painless and a great outcome.

Smart are a pushover and they don't invoke 'keeper liability' under POFA 2012 in their paperwork either (not sure they understand what's needed TBH!). Well done!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
