Final Tax Credit Award

I sent our p60 details off to tax credits in April as soon as we received them.Two weeks later i got the award back with the amounts that we will be receiving but the award said PROVISIONAL we will pay you that amount until we have checked your amounts then we will send you your FINAL award.

Has anyone received there FINAL award yet as they have not sent it to me yet .Have i not supposed to have received that by now ?

no, they have a habbit of leaving you hanging!
they will send it you sometime, then you prob owe them!!
give them a call if you worried

We got our final reward documents this morning, i rang through the declaration stuff last week sometime. Im happy to saythey have credited us with £350 due to underpayment last year. Makes a change when they usually claim we owe them eh!

I rang then last week because I too sent our forms back in April and heard nothing. The woman I spoke to said it was "stuck in the system" but would be sorted out within a week or two. An extra payment went into my bank today so I'm guessing the prod I gave them a few days ago worked.

It's worth calling during the day if you can, I spent two evenings trying to call them only to be cut off after going through the menu's because they had too many calls to deal with.

Carlos, had you actually recieved your annual review notice from tax credits before you sent the P60 infomation in? only they cant process the information unless it has been issued. Very few notices would have been issued before the end of April, cos they dont start getting sent out till late april, so it might be worth you ringing to check the details have actually been entered, and that the other questions on the annual review notice have been answered as well.
