Royal Mail Dividend Re-Investment Plan

Options
Dear All

I received my invitation to join the Royal Mail Re-Investment Plan today. I bought the shares at issue at the standard allocation. Is this plan a good one? The minimum deal charge is £1.50.

Many thanks for your comments

James

Normally I opt for dividend re-investment, when the charges are reasonable. Equiniti's charge of £1.50 or 5% on £30.19 is a rip off. I'll pass on principle.

That was my initial reaction, but when you think about it, this is a share purchase transaction on your behalf. Is £1.50 for such a transaction unreasonably high? If so, how much would be reasonable?

Has RMG finally released even a date for their 1st dividend? Never mind how much. I'd wait till RMG has the courtesy to give it's shareholders this info.
