Well what a load of tosh! I use Aldi, sometimes in Flint, North Wales and sometimes in Mold. Flint is not affluent and Mold and the surrounding area is more so, neither store accepts credit cards. I don't really understand why people want to pay food by credit card and I would not ne happy if prices went up in store to support the introduction of credit cards either.
Sorry you think it's tosh but I really did read that CCs are accepted in Wales.
Have just read on Aldi website that they now accept credit cards in all their stores.0 -

where does it say this?
I've just gone on & it says...
"Do Aldi accept credit cards and cheques?
Visa and Master Card credit cards are accepted in our Irish and Scottish stores. A few of our English and Welsh stores also accept credit cards, please check with your local store for more detail. In line with many other retailers we no longer accept cheques in store."0 -
