Google images is your friend, save the picture and load it up to google images, then you can usually find the genuine advert or where they stole the image from. The scam is that people think they are getting the most amazing bargain but need to travel to see it so they are drawn into sending a deposit with an excited lack of common sense.

Saying that I bought a van of gumtree yesterday which was 20% off glass guide, but it was a buttock clenching journey and deal!

20% off a guide price is IMO, a believable figure, especially if someone is looking for a quick sale.
The vehicle linked to in in the post from SFA is actually listed for sale at about 20% of its realistic value, a figure that should immediately get the alarm bells ringing from anyone who looks at it.
