Certificate from foreign British Embassy

A couple of years ago my father died while abroad on holiday. The British embassy over there issued a death certificate. I need another copy of the certificate as we miss placed it when moving, anyone have any idea how I go about getting it from another country? Is there anyone I can contact in UK?

Try contacting the Home Office here and they should be able to direct you.
  • I seem to recall that all the books from embassies abroad are sent to Somerset House (or wherever all the registers are kept these days). You're more likely to get a copy there than at the embassy.
    I can spell - but I can't type
