Where to go between 28/7-4/8 with a toddler

Hi All

Looking for places to go and stay with a toddler in the UK in the school holidays (28/7-4/8 are when we can go)

Location not too important or length of stay. We want to stay in England and be around London/Oxfordshire at the end of the holiday. Quite happy to do two or three things but don't want to spend the Earth.

Thought about a caravan holiday at holiday park as LO will enjoy the entertainment but Butlins and Haven are very expensive (didn't even look at Centre Parcs).

Considered maybe Legoland or Alton Towers as they have Hotels and lots for younger ones to do but again not found any great deals.

If anyone has suggestions please let me know

what about Park Resorts in Kent or Sussex?

Camber Sands is a lovely sandy beach.......

BUT DO NOT book Pontins as the reviews are terrible - but the park resorts site is ok here i think....

if you went in a caravan for 3 or 4 days it would give you a base to doing other - maybe travelodge etc in the days before and after it ?

Premier Inn have a new offer out today for Thursday and Fridays?

Ok so we have booked a night at Drayton manor but need something to do at the end of our break. We are visiting friends in between with days out sorted. Looking for a break from 1/8 to 5/8 probably in Cotswold area. Caravan parks are very expensive as are cottages. Seems a hotel is cheaper and no cleaning or bed making lol.

Any suggestions please ......we are running out of time.

They seem the cheapest. Will see how far they are from our final destination . Thanks for the suggestion.
