Has anyone used Cuprinol 5 Star Complete Wood Treatment for woodworm in floorboards? (http://www.diy.com/nav/decor/paint-woodcare/woodcare/general-purpose-wood-products/wood_treatments/Cuprinol-5-Star-Complete-Wood-Treatment-Clear-10298953?skuId=9261598)
Did it do the trick?

i used it around 7 years ago as far as i know its done the trick.
have had no more symptoms.
i used one of these to make sure i got in all nooks and crannies http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=garden+fence+pump+sprayer&qpvt=garden+fence+pump+sprayer&FORM=IGRE#view=detail&id=E0D7E31950C4E8E8E1ADCC0B42B1770A7D824C11&selectedIndex=51.
i put mirrors under adjoining floorboards to see if there were any signs of woodworm, sometimes adjoining floorboards looked clear but a few feet along there would be signs of woodworm, . i sprayed the top and underneath of the floorboards and all the joists,0 -
Thanks for that, very helpful.
So you didn't pull them all up to start - just every few to check what was going on underneath?0 -
When I did mine boards were lifted at about 1m intervals throughout their length (skirting to skirting). As long as the sprayer can effectively spray 500mm then you'll reach all of the joists and underside of the boards. Adjust the spacing of lifted boards according to the effective spray pattern of your sprayer.0

Thanks both!0

Another question - wood worm was spotted in two sitting rooms on the ground floor. The survey recommends treating the whole house, which would mean taking up carpets and tiles in bedrooms and bathroom and removing all insulation in the attic. Is this necessary?!0
