  • I was paying the credit card at one point with the PPI but maybe I would not be in such a mess if the PPI was not in with the payments, when I was made redundant it was not worth the paper it was written on.

    So many debts, so little life left to pay them all - Ah Well!!!!

    Two problems there. The first is that you clearly knew you had the PPI. That takes the "I didn't know I had it argument out".

    More significantly, you actually tried to claim on it and it didn't pay out - so that was the time to complain.

    And the PPI might have been the straw that broke the camel's back - but you will have a hard time proving it.
