Time Scale.

 Could anyone please tell me if there is a time limit for the banks to sort out any claims made, as I have just submitted mine to Natwest and been told they will be in touch within the next 56 days!.

Thanks.

It depends on when you want your money. Let them rule the time and you'll see this sign before your money! :xmassign:

Stick to your deadlines if you are thinking of taking it to court.

I think you'll find what Loz is saying is you make them deal with it quicker.

Give them 14 days for the first letter
Give them 14 days for the second letter.

Then bang, hit them with MCOL.

8 weeks (56 days) are in the banks complaint procedures. You only have to wait that long though if you want to use the Financial Ombudsman.
