    1. This Promotion is only open to residents of the UK who are aged 18 or over excluding employees of RCL Cruises Ltd, their agents, their immediate families or anyone professionally connected to this promotion.

    2. No purchase necessary, however a valid Twitter or Facebook account and internet access is required.

    3. Promotion Period: The promotion runs from 10:00 BST on Friday 6th June until 23:59 on Friday 20th June 2014.

    4. To Enter: Follow Royal Caribbean on either
    a. Twitter (at @MyRoyalUK - www.twitter.com/myroyaluk) or
    b. ‘Like’ us on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/royalcaribbeanuk)

    5. Then upload a picture of your #RoyalHappyFace along with a brief explanation of what led to your happy face and the hashtag #RoyalHappyFace. For example if entering via Twitter, upload the photo with ‘Hi @RoyalHappyFace, spending time with my family gives always give me a #RoyalHappyFace’. All entries must include the appropriate hashtag, otherwise they will not be eligible.

    6. Entrants warrant that:
    a. Images submitted are their own work; and
    b. They have the permission of all persons featured, including parental/guardian consent for all those aged under 18
    c. Uploaded images do not infringe or violate the rights of any third party, including but not limited to, ownership, copyrights, trademarks, patents, logos, licensing rights, rights of publicity or privacy or any other intellectual property rights.
    d. Uploaded images conform to established standards of decency and are unlikely to cause reasonable offence, concern or insult.

    7. Verification of any or all of the above may be requested by the Promoter. We reserve the right to reject any entries that in our sole opinion do not meet these requirements.

    8. All entries must be received by the end of the Promotion Period to be valid and no liability is accepted for illegible, incomplete or late entries.

    9. Entrants may submit multiple entries during the Promotion Period, however each entry must be accompanied by a different image and there is a maximum of one prize per person across the whole Promotional Period.

    10. The Prizes: There is a Daily prize of £100 in Love2Shop vouchers for each day of the promotion, so 15 in total. Love2Shop vouchers are valid for one year from date of issue and in over 20,000 high street stores, restaurants, attractions and more.     11. The prizes are non-transferable, are not exchangeable, have no cash alternative and are provided subject to Love2Shop standard terms and conditions at www.highstreetvouchers.com.

    12. We reserve the right to offer alternative prizes, of equal or greater value, should the advertised prizes become unavailable for reasons beyond our control.

    13. Please allow 14 days for despatch of the prizes from confirmation of each winner’s postal address.

    14. Winner Selection: A daily winner will be selected from entries received each day. The winners will be selected within 2 working days of the end of each day of the promotion by a panel of judges containing at least one member who is independent from the Promoter and using the following criteria:
    a. Originality of idea;
    b. Creativity of idea; and
    c. Reference to the theme of the competition.

    15. Winner Communication: We will contact the winners within 2 working days of the date of judging, via direct message on Twitter or Facebook, so entrants are advised to closely monitor their social media accounts. Winners must respond to our message within 14 days of date of initial contact, and confirm their compliance with these terms and conditions. If we do not hear from a winner within 14 days of the date of the initial contact, or if they do not respond in full within this timeframe, they will be disqualified and the prize awarded to a reserve winner selected in the same manner.

    16. By entering, entrants acknowledge that other entrants may have created ideas and concepts that may be similar to your entry, and that the entrant will not be entitled to any compensation or right to negotiate with the Promoter over such matters.

    17. Use of the Image: By submitting an image, entrants grant the Promoter and its associated companies a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence for a term of 2 years to use those images (including comments submitted in connection with any image) in any and all media (including without limitation on its social media channels, (such as Instagram, Twitter and Facebook) websites and tangible media) without accreditation or notification. If an entrant requests the Promoter to remove the image after the end of the term of this licence, the Promoter’s duty to do so will be limited to those channels still reasonably under its control. The Promoter bears no liability for use of any images in accordance with these terms.

    18. To withdraw a submitted image from the competition, entrant must notify the Promoter by email to facebook.uk@rccl.com or write to the Marketing Department at the address below. The Promoter will seek to cease use of the selected image within 7 days of receipt of such notification, however any printed materials already featuring the image, if any, will not be capable of being withdrawn from circulation.

    19. Data Privacy: Entrants' personal data will be used and will be held in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website at http://www.royalcaribbean.co.uk/privacy/

    20. Invalid Entries: Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries, entries submitted by or via third parties or syndicates, entries submitted by macros or other automated means, and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that participant’s entries into the draw in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the promotion, that participant’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

    21. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Twitter or Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information to the Promoter and not to Twitter or Facebook, and that these companies have no liability for any element of this promotion.

    22. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable to the winners for any loss or damage whatsoever caused (whether in contract, tort (including (without limitation) negligence), statutory duty or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with this promotion or acceptance of use of a prize.

    23. The Promoter or its agencies will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of the Promoter or its agencies. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to lost, delayed or not received registrations or winner notifications.

    24. By entering the promotion, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms & conditions and by the decisions of the Promoter, which are final in all matters relating to the promotion. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the prize.

    25. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond our reasonable control and which prevents us from complying with these terms and conditions or operating the promotion as originally intended, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform, run or delay in performing its obligations.

    26. The name and region of the winners will be available by sending an email to facebook.uk@rccl.com quoting “Royal Happy Face Competition” in the subject heading for two months after the end of the Promotion Period.

    27. These terms and conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues.
