Hi allI have a peugeot 206cc 55 plate cut a long story had to pop to my mums this morning less than 1 min away sorted what I had to got back in and started the engine the temp gauge shot up to the red and had an engine coolant to hot warning even though the engine was cold
I have bought a new thermostat and engine coolant sensor which the hubby is going to try and fit tonight
Anyone have this happen to them or any other input would be appreciated

Seems it's either the temperature sensor or electrical glitch.0
