Ukcps no windscreen notice no 1st notice just a £100 charge

Hi,

I had a notice stuck on my windscreen months ago, I was so worried about it that I paid it within a week.
Much later I got a notification letter that I owed £100 and that 28 days had lapsed.
I called them worried that the payment had failed and they informed me there is another ‘parking offence’ for that vehicle (this offence dated before the one paid).
I HAD NO WINDSCREEN NOTICE OR FIRST NOTICE!!
I have since received undated pics.
So I am past the point that they will accept appeals I think..despite the fact that this ticket is news to me.
They are offering a small reduction of the £100 as ‘good will’ fr a v short amount of time but won’t send me that in writing or let me speak to a manager.
I am so stressed about all this and I do not know what to do I would LOVE any advice anyone has?!

If you are still within 28 days of the first letter you aren't too late to appeal - and you should do so anyway, as registered keeper. As ever, this is covered in the sticky thread at the top of this parking forum - which is why I wrote it. Sadly, last year it got silly as we could not keep up with all the ''help I have got a private parking ticket, what do I do?'' threads so I wrote a sticky thread BEGGING newbies to 'read these FAQS first'. So please read the sticky thread and appeal using the template.

Awful to read that you actually paid rather than Google it. Shocking how people just pay.
