Hi , I sent a claim for PPI to welcome finance a few weeks ago and got a letter back stating they would look into my claim , it's has been 6 weeks today so I rang them and they have stated that according to there records the matter is resolved and I will receive a letter in 2 weeks from Fscs as it is just being typed but they can't tell me any more! Has any one else had this ? Does this mean that my claim has been rejected ? They won't tell me any more over the phone !

It means absolutely nothing, other than they won't discuss your complaint until you've actually received your letter.
You would have got the same answer on the phone, regardless of whether your claim was going to be rejected or paid.0
