The Government does have the Green Deal where you can get a very large portion paid. It did cover upto something like £6000. I saw it on a leaflet posted to my home.
I recommend that you alter the topic title and replace EWI because it might not occur to people what it means.0 -
You've got two options ECO or the Home Improvement Fund.
Both require a EPC or a Green Deal Assessment
And both require you to use a Green Deal Installer.
ECO pays the installer a price per unit of carbon fitting the insulation saves your property, then you pay the difference if this falls short of the install cost.
2nd option is the home improvement fund, this gives you 75% cashback upto £6000 plus an extra £500 if you've bought your house in the last 12.months and an extra £100 if you had a Green Deal Assessment"talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish" - Euripides0
