I don't know why they were merged either. Its getting really confusing trying to work out what relates to Cosmetic research/Clix and whats this other company. :undecided
I, too, thought that the perfumes were from the above until someone kindly explained.

If a board guide is reading, could they be separated as they have nothing to do with each other?

Sorry to be a pain - but can anyone tell me how I join Givaudan panel? I googled them & got Market Reader Pro; chose UK & started to complete a questionnaire but (a) it was about an obviously non-UK 'Bath & Body Works' & some questions assumed familiarity with B&BW (b) an 'unknown page' error came up halfway through so I couldn't complete it.

What do their panel do? Surveys? Consumer tests? Or both? I will be eternally grateful if someone can let me know how to register with them:A

(BTW, got my first Clix gig starting tomorrow - anti-wrinkle eye & lip treatment. Hasn't arrived yet, tho' - do they usually arrive last minute?)

I'm a member of both (for just under a year) and have had a few samples to test from each. However, with Givaudan its been mostly online surveys with an occassional 'thank you' gift, like a scarf. I've also tested washing powder with them too. I didn't know about the perfumes so it was a lovely surprise!

The main difference I've found between Givaudan and others like Clix or Tesco, is the that the samples are generous/full size and all parcels need to be signed for.

Thanks for the info! I was wondering why I hadn't had an invite for perfume! I might try to sign up, although I haven't had much success from clix. Fingers crossed!!

One of the only 2 trials I've had from clix was foundation, and I received it the day that I was supposed to start wearing it!

I joined through another freebie website and they passed my details onto Givaudan. But another MSE member posted an email address a couple of pages previously, but I'm not sure if that would work?

They do a mixture of consumer tests and surveys, mostly the latter I've found. Also seem to be mainly based on smells/fragrances. Some surveys are rewarded with a gift, most aren't. You don't really find out until at the end of a survey or it arrives at the door! Word of warning, surveys can be quite long and repetitive.

With Clix, the samples often arrive on their start date. Some samples are full, others are tiny. Although I've only tested four things for Clix in a year, I've been quite lucky because 3 out of 4 have been pretty much full sized samples. But with Clix you have to be quick because trials fill up very quickly. I've missed out on a number of invites because I didn't see them quick enough.

Also, I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but you can get more than one invite in a day. However, as soon as you choose one, the others can become unavailable! I had this with the Rose essence mask and cream trials. So my advice is, choose the one you want the most first, just in case! Speedy fingers are required!

I got Moon Sparkle today from Parcel Force (had to dsign for it) too, its lovely, very similar to Princess by V.Wang..........
