    You might also want to have a word with Citizens Advice since it does seem that you're having too much deducted. They may also know of other options for you.

    It's also quite likely that if you were to live with someone as man and wife or to marry this pension may stop. This is quite a common provision but it doesn't apply to all pensions. You should really check the rules that apply so you know what you can or can't do while still getting the money. The law doesn't cover this, it's a case of what the individual pension scheme rules say.

    If you didn't discuss your child's situation with the firm that the pension is coming from you might want to do that. There is usually some discretion in who can be paid and it is possible that having the pension paid to your child instead of you might improve your situation. I do not know how this would affect benefits and it is not certain that the pension will allow this, but it can be possible, depending on the individual pension scheme, and is worth investigating.
