Credit for Returned Goods

I noticed going through my statements this month that a credit for returned goods had been done against a different card than I paid for them, I wondered if this could be use to trasnfer funds around cards:
Card A: 0% on purchases
Card B: 16% with large amount currently on it
Buy expensive item on Card A, then take item back and get refund onto Card B, thereby transferring the debt to the 0% rate card without any fees.

it sounds like money laundering to me. be carefulKrusty & Phil Madoff, 1990 - 2007:

And normally merchants will only refund to the card that was originally used. I'd be careful if your doing this.:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)
