What sort of dates did you put in? I'm trying to get a flight abroad and no dates are coming up for it

I have now got the flight down to newquay for 1p with no tax etc.
Leaving 1st Sept coming back 3rd Sept.

Saw the free offer briefly and now it is gone. May be if we go online really early in the morning we might catch a cheap flight. Need to look out for the 1p regular fares as this does not attract taxes. Still need to add luggage to the booking which costs money.

you just need to keep on pressing f5 to get the correct banner, but clicking the banner has no effect. Below is a list for the free destinations from Stanstead:

I managed to copy and paste this list by pressing f5 loads and loads of times til this list came up. However it is not possible to find free flights for them at the moment only the 1p flights.

so for the moment (which i guess will be fixed once the coders wake up), you can only find 1p flights for these destinations. which tbh is still practically free. so up to you whether you want to wait or not.
too bad I won't be in england in sept/oct.
happy hunting for the cheap flights.

I just ordered a flight for 2 to oslo for 4p which is the closest you'll get to free.

My understanding from the line I've highlighted in red is that is we shouldn't be paying the taxes or other charges either. I've found plenty of £0.01p flights, but as all of them have the tax to be added on, I'm going to leave sorting it out for the morning.

There are 1p ones without taxes as well as 1 p ones with taxes. I believe they have to charge a token 1p for the freebies or it screws up their system.
Go on the "Find Lowest Fairs" section and you can look at 20 day blocks, saves putting in lots of dates one after the other. Then select the 1p flights if they are on days that suit you. Check the next page to see if taxes have been applied.

That's what I've been doing - not one so far without taxes for Venice or Barcelona.

I don't know what your preferred departure airport is, but Stansted to Venice is available going out on the 12th or 15th Sep. and returning on 13th or 18th amongst others.
