GAP Insurance Claim

Hi

5 years ago, I took out a Lease agreement with Lex Vehicle Finance for a Clio. Part of this automatically added on GAP insurance. This was a mandatory part of the agreement and not optional.

Does anyone know if this is can be claimed back?

Thanks

It may well have been but, unless you were told it was mandatory when it wasn't, there is nothing wrong with the sale.
As its name suggests, gap insurance is designed to cover the gap between the amount you paid for your car, and the amount your insurer will pay out based on its current value.

You cannot "claim it back" because it was never mis-sold to you..
