I work full time, my partner works 15 hours, we have 1 child age almost 2.
would we be better off if my partner worked an extra hour?
Also how do you claim for childcare? What are the maximum household limits?

Well, working an extra hour would make you better off, as she'd have an extra hour's income.
If you're talking about TCs only, what level of income do you have?
Also to claim childcare costs both parents must be working at least 16 hours."Facism arrives as your friend. It will restore your honour, make you feel proud, protect your house, give you a job, clean up the neighbourhood, remind you of how great you once were, clear out the venal and the corrupt, remove anything you feel is unlike you... [it] doesn't walk in saying, "our programme means militias, mass imprisonments, transportations, war and persecution."0
