Themostatic mixer shower replacemnt taps

I'm hoping to tap the vast knowledge and experience of the forum.
I have a thermostatic mixer shower and the flow control on the shower is rotating without turning the shower on or off. I've taken the tap off and I can see that the male spline of the stem has worn away the female thread on the tap.
Does anyone know of places that sell replacement mixer shower taps? I have tried google with no success.
Any help gratefully received.
TIA

Is it like a nylon insert? I have used epoxy (araldite) on one before for a quick fix.0

How about something like this http://www.lidl.co.uk/en/our-offers-2491.htm?action=showDetail&id=13497&ar=1
Is this what you were thinking of?0 -
This is what I'm after although not quite what I need to match the shower. I was hoping for somewhere that did a few different types to pick the closest one. Good shout on the epoxy, if I can't find a replacement I may need to go for that.
