Yet another PPI claim thread

Hey folks,
Recently submitted a claim for my mis-sold PPI from Lloyds TSB from between 1998 and 2002. Left them in 2006 as I thought they treated me shockingly as a customer and threw away nearly all of my documentation.
Decided to submit a claim a few weeks ago, and the only info I could remember was my sort code, account number and security information.
I filled in the form they sent me, mostly answering "can't remember" (it was over 10 years ago!).
What are my chances? I am getting mixed feelings after reading the responses around here. I was told by the financial advisor that PPI was something that I needed, and she never explained that it was optional, but I am reading a lot of "the advisor acted fairly". What do I do in the event that I get this "standard" letter people seem to be getting?
Thanks.

No one can tell you what your chances are tobe honest. It really is a case of wait and see,
My daughter was in the same boat, most of her answers were 'don't remember' and a few weeks later she got a checque for just less than £800. Other people I have heard got nothing.
Good luck....make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
To be honest, I tracked down four loans of which they advised in branch that I had PPI on three of, so I'm at least having my fingers crossed for something.0
