Sorry in advance, I know this question has sort of been asked before but I can't see anything specifically like my query.
I applied last Tuesday for their credit building card and got an instant accept (surprised as my rating isn't good, even for a credit builder card!) However I called today to see if they could check the limit for me and see if the card had been posted they said that the application was in "the final stages" and I would need to wait 10-15 days for the outcome.
Has anyone had this before where it says accept right away and it actually hasn't been? If so, is it likely that this is just credit limit checks or something rather than determining if they can offer me the card?

I think you will be ok - I read a similar post from someone else a few weeks back e.g. CapOne said yes instantly online, then he rang and they said "final stages" - if I recall correctly when he rang a second time he spoke to someone else who told him everything was fine.

Hi I got exactly the same last week when I applied I called they said final stages then I got a email a few days later saying welcome and my pin yesterday0

That's good to hear, hopefully it's just to determine the limit or something then. I applied last Tues and still haven't had an email or anything yet so keeping my fingers crossed!

Just a quick update, I received my email yesterday confirming my account was accepted and today received my PIN. Thanks again for your help!0
