Olympic warranties be warned
I extended the warranty on my Audi A6 3.0 tdi estate for £180 payable by instalments I have had to claim on it as the drivers door lock threw a wobble not uncommon on these cars the cost in total is £279 which I have to pay £50 excess however when I phoned them up to clarify what they told the repairer I was told that yes they would settle it to the tune of £279 inc my £50 excess however due to me paying by instalments they would not reimburse me or pay the garage direct until all the instalments were paid
I told them that I was far from impressed as they are an insurance based company and that if my house burnt down or someone robbed us would I be told the same thing that we can't replace your stolen goods or rebuild your house until you've paid the premiums I used the term Office of fair trading and they didn't like that either
It's been left that they will take the remaining £90 of instalments from the £229 and send me a cheque for the remainder I'm no worse off but still to me wrong
