If SO and I both apply for a mortgage together, and we don't get it, can he apply alone straight away? Or will there be a mark or something on his file?

His credit file would just show a credit application had been made. Not whether he was accepted or declined.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
