Advice reqd on Banks offers

I am claiming approx £7100 inc interest from NatWest and have had a court date for the hearing in Sept. On 29th June I received an offer of £3538 from the bank as an out of court settlement. On the 6th July I received a similarly worded document offering me another out of court settlement with a reduced amount of £2927. Am I to take it that the bank is in fact offering both amounts as a settlement or are they just being insulting in reducing the first offer. Has anyone else gone through a similar experience? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

By the sounds of it they have reduced their offer. I would take them all the way to get back the full amount. £7100 is alot of money.

hang in there and good luck!!
