A warning to those seeking treatment for your pets

I really do hope that this is just a one off- as the heartache this man has provided cannot be truly fathomed!

How anyone could get pleasure from what he did is beyond me.

What kind of justice is 19 months in prison and banned from keeping animals for seven years? He should never be allowed near animals again and as for the prison sentence I could think of a few things that could be done that would be more just.

What an evil, evil cretin he is. 19 months is no where near enough.

It just beggars belief - :(

There really are some horrible people in this world and I totally agree 19 months is definitely not long enough, especially as it says he commited the crimes weeks within being released from prison for similar offences!

A lesson to actually check that person you are seeing is a vet. It's not difficult to check the credentials on the RCVS website. I can't help feeling that people must be pretty gullible though to believe he was a vet and have him operate on treat their animals based solely on a business card from a guy with no actual premises.

And 19 months in prison is ridiculous, the fraud alone should come to far more than that. Idiot judge. And allowing him to keep animals again in 7 years is essentially enabling him to commit more crimes, do these people want him to do the same thing again?

To any animals rights activists in or near Grimsby, you know what to do, get on with it when he gets out.
