Stop using it would be the obvious answer, if you want to use it then you will have to start paying amazon!!

Natwest can change what they offer with there accounts, and remove features they feel they can no longer offer.

Do you have the Select Silver Account?

Nope just the ordinary select account.

So because I don't have a select silver account, means I can't comment on a public forum then does it?
Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.
  • I'm very upset about lack of LoveFilm!

However well worth the phone insurance/travel insurance if on a joint bank account! As covers 2x phones and 2x travel insurance.

I wish Natwest had given us some options of what we would of liked to have as 'rewards' for having a silver account!

Natwest probably think you should be thankful they let you have a silver account, yet alone have any say in what they want to offer with that account.

I didn't have the Silver, but I did (do) have a NatWest Current Plus (now Select, I assume) account - but stopped using it when the last benefit (£100 interest free overdraft) got canned.

As for paying for Select Silver for phone and travel insurance, Nationwide FlexPlus is a much better deal. Mine is a sole account, but covers my OH and I for travel and phone insurance, me for breakdown and has fee free cash withdrawals abroad, for only £10 per month.

And no, I don't work for Nationwide :p

Just had a email from Lovefilm telling me about this, nothing from RBS! This was one of the main things i enjoyed and used all 3 films each month!
  • I can't believe this, two of the reasons i got this account on top of phone insurance, 5 free digital downloads and lovefilm. I can't believe they're not popular, no way, it's ridiculous, i'm so angry and annoyed, extremely frustrating.
I wonder if there's another bank that offers this, quite happy to leave.
  • The only reason I was maintaining my select silver account was for the lovefilm subscription and phone insurance.

Now they're taking the lovefilm away I'm out!

They are talking poop to suggest that the service is no longer being offered. My account is linked with amazon instant video and I watch streams on it all the time.

Good luck keeping people on this benefitless scam! :T:T:T

How can t be a scam & absolute nonsense?

Lovefilm no longer exist and are now Amazon Prime. Amazon have obviously decided not to keep up whatever agreement was in place.

Why is it when something people don't like happens it ends up being the drama queen-esque 'scam & absolute nonsense' rather than than the blatant obvious the company providing no longer exists in it's current form!
