Karcher K5.20 pressure washer discounted

Hello everyone,
Thanks for taking time to read this.
I am on the verge of picking up a used Karcher K5.20 pressure washer, it is discounted because there is no yellow hose included. All the other parts are. Can I use my own garden hose or is it a special one? I have been looking for one for sometime now.
Thanks again.

I recently bought a k4. If you mean the hose that's on the reel at the top (green?) Then it has special fittings at each end. You'll need to buy the original hose from karcher, probably. Might be pricey, hence the discount. I did a quick search on the internet and couldn't find it.
My k4 also came with a see-through hose, which I believe you can buy for around £24.
The bottom line is that the hoses that come with the karchers tend to be specific.0 -
Hi,
Thanks. The guy said it is missing the yellow hose. I am guessing that is for the water. It has the hose that connects to the handle and a black skinny one. If it the waster hose missing can anyone fit?
Much appreciated0 -
worse comes to worse you may be able to buy a broken one off Ebay for spares parts, or try here:

I'm guessing that's the missing hose, as it's partially yellow. If it is, that's the extension hose...it's generi8c to all Karchers. They have all the spare parts on there as well0 -

I can only speak for my k4 but it came with two hoses. One that connects to the handle (green) and a see-through one (with a yellow stripe running down it) which you use if you want to take up rain water water from a butt or other container. The hose that you normally connect to the mains supply is not provided with the washer - any garden hose will work, with standard off-the-shelf fittings at each end. So, if you're not worried about using water from a butt, no problem. But if you do want to do that, you'll need to buy a karcher specific hose.
I'm not sure what other hose it could be that's missing.0
