Hi all,
Some help would be appreciated here.
I recently purchased a new car insurance policy, switching from Direct Line to Endsleigh and it will come into force this week.
However, looking back through my previous paperwork, it turns out that I have inputted the wrong no claims discount. I have already paid for the policy.
I have paid for a policy with 4 years no claims, but I only actually have 3.
What do people think would be the most effective way to deal with this?
If I were to cancel during the cooling off period, would I need to pay an admin fee, or would it be best to just let them know and pay an admin fee and the increased premium?
Any thoughts and advice/knowledge would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

You need to check the policy wording to see what charges are due if you cancel during the cooling off period.
Do dummy quotes with your correct ncd to get an idea of the premium you can expect if you start again.
Then make your decision.0 -
Just sort it sooner rather than later as they will require proof0
