Groupon!

Hi folks.
I brought a vanity set on Groupon at the cost of £128.98. I WAS a loyal Groupon customer but not anymore. I also ordered ink jets which have got lost somewhere?! Anyway It came but the mirror was cracked and still is. I don't obviously know if it was done whilst packing or on delivery? I have sent them an email requesting refund for half the cost and CC'd DPD into it. I got a standard reply back from Groupon about replacing it (was a suprise present so that wasnt happening) but nothing from DPD. I have opened up a resolution case with paypal as the money came straight from off my card as i never keep credit on it. Any thoughts on where to go from here? thank you loyal MSE consumers.

You can't demand a half refund and keeping the item (I assume by surprise present you mean its been given away with a cracked mirror?)
You can ask for it to be replaced, repaired, or refunded. But not half of one and 2/4 of the other.
Well you can ask, but they don't have to agree!
DPD have no contract with you, so why would they contact you? You deal with groupon (who have offered a resolution) and Groupon will in turn, if they choose, deal with DPD.0
