Bos ppi

Received letter from BOS saying they have found I had PPI on a loan I took out in 2006. I know for a fact that I did not take out PPI as I said face to face with the girl in the bank I did not want it. There for I should have no problem getting the money back. What I don't know is how much I should be due. The loan was £3000 over three years. Any ideas folks?

Nobody can have any idea. Indeed, it is possible it is nothing. They may have initially set up with PPI but removed it before you paid a premium.

You will have to wait and see.

Yes, this circumstance could still have generated a letter to the effect that the OP HAD PPI.

Not a surefire winner at all, I'm afraid.

OK let's say they do say I have a claim for the full three years and having seen how much paid monthly I'm sure my Apr was 8% then how much PPI should I receive.

The interest APR is irrelevant, You'll receive only a refund of any PPI you paid(plus interest) if you are successful.
