PPI Reclaim

Hi All,
can anyone give me some advice on how long a PPI claim should take. My sister started a claim with EIC 2 years ago and she is being told that they are still waiting for another four companies to get back to them. As she is in an IVA the money will go directly to Grant Thornton, but it will clear the debt.
What can she do to speed things up?

She should get a response in a couple of days (typical confirmation letter) and then a response outcome in about 4-12 weeks. After 8 weeks, she could go to the FOS if she is not happy with the outcome or had no outcome (that assumes the firm still exists and was regulated prior to January 2005).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
