remortgage for home improvements versus credit card?

Options
am a bit new to all this mortgage malarkey - i have just bought a house and now want to rewire and add new kitchen and bathroom. What's the best way to fund this - add onto mortgage or go for low interest / 0% credit card? I have people telling me both!

thanx for help

Contact your existing lender and ask them for a further advance.

    If you've got enough equity.
  • what are the arguments for doing that versus a credit card? Just affordability as i guess will cost less monthly?

How long will it be before you end up having to pay interest on the credit card that will be a lot more than the mortgage rate.
