  • im still investigating but it seems that they buy in areas of the uk where it is both cheaper and demand will hopefully go up due to population increase. Manchester has been the main focus as it has 15 universities and fits the other criteria. Rather than rent to families, they will take as an example a 3 bed house and turn it into a 4/5 bed student accommodation. Hmo or some other acronym like that... House of multiple occupancy. So rent returns are higher. The latest project has been bought for 17% below market value because they have agreed to do various works to the property to the existing tenants.

    they have only been running a year so none if the properties have reached the 3 or so years at selling point. There are a few properties bought through this site but unsure how often they go through each buying process. It appears to be one every 4-6 weeks though
