    It depends what you call cheap & what you're looking for - a room, hostel or hotel? What's available is also dependent on when you're going. I'm off to Venice & paying under £13 a night, which I think is very reasonable. You can find accommodation in Berlin from under £6 a night. Whether you'll like staying there though is another matter...

    Thanks wherediditallgo - I'm no too fussy, but if staying in a hostel I would like a private double room - I'm amazed at Venice at £13 pn - can you direct me to there website?

    Go onto ryanair.com & click on the navy tab for Hostel World, then pick Italy then Treviso. Select 'All' under Property, put in your dates & a list of places should come up with the prices. :)

    I think that you will find that the 1p flights are in September and October.....

    I'm confused - some 1p flights are 1p inclusive of charges and some are plus taxes - has anyone else found this?
