Forever Living advice

Morning All,
Just looking for a quick word of advice really.
My partner has decided to sign up with Forever Living and start her own business / franchise / whatever you want to call it.
Just looking for any tips / hints that I can support her with.
The woman who recruited her spoke to me as I was initially quite sceptical was highly knowledgeable and I now understand the implications and risks.
Does anyone have any success stories in relation to these guys or reviews on whether it's worth it in the long run?
Any advice / help is much appreciated.
Thanks!

If you would like your partner to see all of your friends and family as a potential money source and target for the cult like over priced un proven products, then its a great idea.
I have literally severed links with 2 friends as all they wanted to do was meet up, and flog the concept to me, again and again. Then had the cheek for me to gather a group of my other mates together, so they could flog to them.
MLM at it's worst0 -
My experience is the same as Credit-Crunched's. My friend would not accept that I did not want to 'support her' by becoming part of her team and spent every time we got together trying to persuade me otherwise. I know you need to be persistent to succeed in MLM, but is it really worth losing friends over?0

Did you see your friends change? Mine did in an extreme way, the language they used was identical, but so alien to how we as a group converse.
Sack the Boss
Reach for the sky

It's very very cult like. I think some people do live well, but not sure on longevity. I for one could not make a living, seeing all friends and family as a way to further enhance my bank account.0 -
I have also heard a lot of stories about how difficult it is to get any long term benefits out of this. Interesting concept, but not for me.0

Yes, it is very like a cult. My friend also got involved in another MLM scheme called Xocai, which was marketed as healthy chocolate. Great principle, but I'd rather spend my money on a whole bar of Green & Blacks or similar than one square of overpriced Xocai. Funnily enough, my 'friend' didn't think this was very supportive either.0 -

I don't have much.
But an ex colleague, now facebook friend has joined, all she seems to tweet about is fl, how great it is to have your own business, how she is looking to help 3 people this month make between £200-£500 a month, leading up to £2000 a month by Christmas, also the hotel and or holiday she hopes she can make next year, some big hotel in japan or somewhere, the new Bmw one person got this month, her manage got a great bonus at the rally etc, etc, getting a bit boring really.
But I do admire her persistence.
One time she posted a before and after pic of this miracle whitening toothpaste she was flogging, but they were in 2 different lights, she was a bt miffed when I pointed that out.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

Loads of post floating around the webosphere many talking about the high earnings achievable without carrying the required trading trading scheme warning.
"Statutory Wealth Warning
It is illegal for a promoter or a participant in a trading scheme to persuade anyone to make a payment by promising benefits from getting others to join a scheme.
Do not be misled by claims that high earnings are easily achieved."
The products are good quality but very expensive.
Having said that i do know a few people that are doing really well from it by.It did not happen overnight they worked hard at it.0 -
