Help needed please, chipped fibreglass bath

Last week when decorating I dropped the scraper into the bath and have just realised I've must of chipped our corner bath, right in the middle of the base, it's indian ivory in colour. Kits I've seen online seem to be in brilliant white. Anyone any ideas if I can buy a coloured kit or can somehow colour it. Thanks.

Never done it, but you need to find an epoxy resin and a suitable colourant. Try a few mixes to get good colour match as it will change slightly when set.

Too late now, but I always put a old duvet cover in bath when doing any work in that area.

I know I should of done, was gutted when I saw it. I'll see if hubby can manage to mix something, although he's no DIY'er, hence why I'm decorating.

Search bath chip specialists on google in your area, most can be repaired for around £60-£100. Invisible repairs

    Hi Cherydee

Don't know if this might help, but have you tried gelcoat repair kits? They are meant for fibreglass boat hulls, so are tough and waterproof, and come in a large range of colours. For an example google Blue Gee Colour Match and see if any of their colours come close. (Used to own a boat!)

Thanks andyhop and Nootychoo, I'll look into both of these.
